Artifact Three

This paper was a final project from Spring of 2024. I was taking Visual Rhetoric, ENGL 3134, with Professor Hocks. The original assignment required an analysis of a visual rhetoric trend of our choice, and I decided to analyze positive versus negative brand advertisements for self-care. It was a persuasive piece targeting skin care consumers. I selected this item to include in my portfolio because it was more of a rhetoric analysis, specifically visual rhetoric, and I remember being very passionate about the topic I chose and learning so much about analyzing company advertisements. My final product does have a strong main idea and reliable sources, but today I would revise it to structure the paper better, making it more clear and strengthening the core argument.
